Mark external links
#1
There is a new version of this plugin for MyBB 1.6.6+ [Image: external.png]here!

Name: Mark external links
Description: This plugin will mark all external links with a small default image like Wikipedia does. You can also choose special images instead of the default image for certain homepages.
Extra: Internal links (to your forum threads and so on) will be opened in the same and not in a new window, you can enable/disable that feature in the settings.

Please note that the plugin will not affect the database, your posts are save from any modification.
No additional DB queries are performed.
This plugin has been stress tested on a quadcore server with 100 page calls at the same time and does slow down the loading at a half second under the load of 100 pages at the same time.

Demo: MybbAddons.com - let's try it rightaway!

Before the plugin - it's a mess, you don't know where the link will lead you, especially with a custom title.

Applying the plugin - much better, isn't it?

Settings for all needs.

You don't have to use [int], you can still use [url].
If you have problems with the setting try to put it to no and then back to yes.

Kind regards

Hmm, I can't give support for modified versions I don't have Tongue

The unmodified plugin should work fine.

It's not meant to parse this mycode...
Why the hell should it parse this mycode? Big Grin

If you would like to use such a internal shortcut linker there is one at Mybboard.net as far as I remember.
But that's not how this plugin is designed to be Wink
